BOUTIQUE CONDO PROJECT BREAKS GROUND IN MIAMI'S EDGEWATER
The Spark condominium broke ground in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood
Spider, a development firm led by Andres Goldenberg, is building the 56-unit condo at 522 N.E. 34th Street. With prices starting in the $500,000s, nearly 40 of its units are pre-sold, the developer said.
Condos will range from 955 to 1,800 square feet and penthouses will be around 3,900 square feet. All units will come fully furnished.
The project’s amenities will include a pool, fitness center, spa and massage area, yoga garden, summer kitchen, social room, theater, music room and sky terrace.
"We bought Spark's site in early 2014 with a clear vision of a project perfectly suited for a lifestyle with a careful balance of luxury, sophistication, and sustainability, focused on fitness, the arts, and entertainment,” Goldenberg said. "Today's groundbreaking marks the first step in the realization of that vision."
The developer acquired the 16,500-square-foot site for $3.55 million. It’s about a block west from Biscayne Bay.
Spider said Spark should be completed in the first quarter of 2018. The 27-story project was designed by Behar Font & Partners.
Spark also plans to develop a 93-unit condo in Edgewater and the 44-room OWN hotel in Miami Beach.
